Education
IAB offers free schooling and college education to visually impaired students from low-income groups, aided by a well-equipped braille and audio library, scholarships, and extra-curricular activities that round off their learning and motivate them to participate.

Besides education, we ensure that skilling—such as computer, retail, and printing & book binding—is offered to prepare individuals for real-world opportunities. We also coach students for competitive exams and introduce them to technology to thrive in the digital world.

Built with the students’ specific needs in mind, our 60,000 sq ft residence houses thoughtfully planned facilities spread over three lush acres. Additionally, medical care is the utmost priority in our building—our students’ health matters to us deeply.

Guidance and Assistance
We offer additional support, including printing books in braille, audiobooks, and introducing life skills as well as accessible technology, to ensure individuals feel part of a community. Also included are legal aid services, grocery kit support, and old-age pension assistance.

We support students with various employment opportunities, beginning with in-house placements and going on to private sector employment and even government sector roles like teaching, railways, and banking, with about 750 IAB alumni having been employed in such areas.
